How Biometric Attendance Works
Employee enrolment: each employee registers a fingerprint or facial scan during onboarding. The device converts the capture into an encrypted template in under 30 seconds.
Encrypted storage: templates are encrypted with AES-256 and held on the device and/or cloud server. Raw fingerprint and facial images are never stored, so the deployment stays privacy-compliant.
Clock-in verification: on arrival, the employee scans at the terminal. The system identifies them against all stored templates in under half a second.
Attendance logging: the check-in is recorded with user ID, device location and timestamp; the same happens at clock-out. Records sync to the cloud dashboard in real time.
